These terms are an agreement between you and 1300 Studios ("we", "us") for TEAM8 Gaming, TEAM8 Build and TEAM8 Basic (each an edition of "TEAM8"): the desktop app, the TEAM8 plugin for Claude Code, and any updates we provide. By installing or using TEAM8 you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't install it, and ask for a refund within the refund period.

1. Your license

When you buy a copy of an edition, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use TEAM8 on up to 3 computers that you use. A copy is for one person. The license doesn't expire unless it ends under section 9.

2. What you may not do

  • Share, sell, rent or give away copies of TEAM8, your download link, or access to your copy.
  • Let other people use your copy, or install it on more computers than your license allows.
  • Remove or change TEAM8's notices, credits or trademarks.
  • Get around any license, purchase or activation check.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law gives you that right regardless of these terms.
  • Use TEAM8 to break the law or anyone else's rights.

3. Your projects are yours

Your games, apps, websites, code, documents, assets, and the team files TEAM8 writes into your projects belong to you. We claim no rights in them, and you may use and sell them however you like.

4. Other services

TEAM8 works with services we don't run: Claude Code and your Claude plan from Anthropic, git hosts, the deploy hosts you connect, the email, calendar and file services you connect through Claude, and open-source tools TEAM8 can use, such as RTK for Token Saver. Your use of them is under their own terms, and any costs they charge are yours. TEAM8 is not made or endorsed by Anthropic.

Work produced by AI can be wrong. Review what your chats change before you rely on it, and keep your projects in version control.

5. Updates and support

We may release updates that fix problems or add features. Your purchase includes: Free updates through version 1.x. We offer support as described on the Support page.

6. Refunds

7. No warranty

To the extent the law allows, TEAM8 is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise it will be error-free or work with every project, engine, stack or service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or work. Our total liability for any claim about TEAM8 is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

9. When the license ends

Your license ends automatically if you break these terms or receive a refund. When it ends, stop using TEAM8 and delete your copies.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new date. The terms in place when you bought TEAM8 apply to that purchase unless you agree to new ones.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where 1300 Studios is established, except where the consumer laws of your country give you rights that can't be changed by agreement.
